Mayrhofen 2024 - Tux 150er to Horbergjochbahn

2nd April 2024, 11:40 The Tux 150er gives access to the Rastkogel area which is a nice selection of runs away from the main Mayrhofen area. Initially starting as Red 66, you can continue on the Red 66 back down to the Horberg area by going left at 00:20 where the rope tow is. However continuing straight on we pass below the Wanglspitz chair top station at 00:55 and are effectively on Blue 67 at this point. This remains a narrow, flat track for a while before opening out at 1:30 where you can see Blue 67a joining from the right (From top of Horbergjoch chair). The Blue 67 from here is a nice wide run, and fairly gentle too. At 3:55 you can se the bottom station of the Wanglspitz chair that would take you back to almost where we started, and allows access from there back to Horberg area. However to reach the Horbergjoch chair we need to continue straight on. As we pass under the chair at 4:20 the run becomes Blue 63, also worth noting a few other runs crossing over from the right so it can become a bit busy here. AT 6:30 we head off to the left on Red 60 for a short, fast section, before meeting other pistes at 7:30 for the final, flat track to the lift station.
