By this time, Moses has been humbled by life—he no longer sees himself as capable or qualified to fulfill God’s calling. Yet, it’s precisely in this state of humility that God moves most powerfully, using Moses to perform miracles, signs, and wonders. This story reminds us that God’s greatest work is never accomplished by our own strength. When the time is right, He Himself will bring His plans to pass.
