In my next video I make the bronze stalk to complete this slate Apple sculpture:    • SCULPTING and LOST-WAX BRONZE CASTING | Ja...   Watch as I create a stacked slate garden sculpture of an 'Apple' filmed in time-lapse. Building using similar fundamentals to that of a drystone wall or 'drystane dyke'. Using thousands of pieces of Vermont slate and little more than a hammer, I carefully shape and stack each piece to create a beautiful sculpture for the garden. This video begins in South Queensferry, Scotland, before I invite you into my studio to watch as I work. Over the course of several days, I painstakingly sculpt an Apple by stacking pieces of slate. This footage is shot in time-lapse. The video culminates back in South Queensferry where I talk about the world renowned Forth Road Bridge.
