Before the Twuzuzanye (Let's build each other, together) project, Faida Kanziza was already recognised as a woman leader in her community. However, her participation in this project has enabled her to strengthen her skills and become a more effective advocate for women's participation, thereby making a more significant contribution to the transformation of her community. In our Burundi programme, Impunity Watch pursues strategies to transform social relations and deconstruct stereotypes underpinning traditional gender roles. Actions include the Twuzuzanye (Let's build each other, together) project, implemented in 4 provinces of the country, with financial support from the Belgian Directorate-General for Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Aid and in partnership with Dushirehamwe, SPDH, and Yaga. Toutefois, sa participation à ce projet lui a permis de renforcer ses compétences et de mieux plaider en faveur de la participation des femmes, contribuant ainsi de manière plus impactante à la transformation de sa communauté.
