A 6000 km long road trip along the countries of the Balkan Peninsula opened my eyes to the beauty of this region. Having passed Serbia with its, in a simple, picturesque nature, Montenegro with high mountains and deep canyons, Albania with the unreal color of rivers and the old cities of Macedonia, I realized that the Balkans are no longer about war. These countries did not always find a common language, and the wounds of enmity left too deep a scar.
