** DRLs are a SAFETY FEATURE of your vehicle. Before attempting this procedure, see WARNING at the bottom of this description.** How to disable the Daytime Running Lights (DRL) on a 2nd Generation (2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014) Honda FIT. It's as simple as pulling a fuse from the under-dash FUSE PANEL. Once you access the FUSE PANEL, you just need to pull the correct fuse to disable the DRLs. If you look at the FUSE PANEL diagram, the DRL fuse is labeled "DAY LIGHT". The DRL FUSE is a Dark Red 7.5 AMP fuse located in the 2nd column from the left, and the 5th fuse from the bottom of the FUSE PANEL. Use the included FUSE PULLER to remove the fuse. The FUSE PULLER is like a plastic set of tweezers, and is located on the right side of the FUSE PANEL just below a large blue square fuse. To remove it, squeeze the end lightly, and pull straight out. To access the FUSE PANEL, you need to open a dash panel on the left side of the dash that includes the "VSA OFF" button. It's to the left of the steering wheel... the VSA OFF button looks like a car on top of two wavy lines. Just below the VSA OFF button, is a little recess that you use as a handle to pull on. The DASH PANEL is hinged at the bottom. Give it a firm pull, and you should be able to rotate the panel downward to access the FUSE PANEL beneath. Find the correct fuse... it's the dark red 7.5 amp fuse located in the 2nd column from the left, and 5th fuse from the bottom. Squeeze one side of the FUSE PULLER, and use the open end to grab the fuse, and firmly pull the fuse straight out. **THE DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHTS (DRLS) ARE A SAFETY FEATURE. DISABLING THIS SAFETY FEATURE CAN RESULT IN YOUR VEHICLE BEING LESS VISIBLE ON THE ROAD WHICH COULD IN TURN RESULT IN A COLLISION. I DO NOT RECOMMEND DISABLING THE DRLS. THIS VIDEO IS FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. I CANNOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY ACCIDENTS, DAMAGES, DEATH OR INJURIES THAT RESULT FROM YOU MAKING THE DECISION TO DISABLE YOUR DRLS. I ALSO CANNOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGES TO YOUR VEHICLES ELECTRICAL SYSTEM AS A RESULT OF ATTEMPTING TO DISABLE YOUR DRLS.**
