Give this delicious Desi Murgh(Chicken) Karahi a try and share your feedback with us. #DesiMurghKarahi #DesiChickenKarahi #ChickenKarahi Ingredients: Water 1 L Ginger 3 cubes Garlic 4 cloves Desi Chicken 1 kg Tomatoes 3 large Salt 1/2 tbsp Red chili flakes 1 tbsp Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp Oil 1 cup Coriander powder 1/2 tbsp Yogurt 1 cup Black pepper powder 1/2 tbsp Green chilies as required Green coriander (chopped) as required Ginger (julienne) as required Directions: 1. In a pot heat water and add ginger and garlic. Boil for 30 minutes and extract ginger garlic from water. 2. Take the tomatoes and score them making cross sign on top. Now in same water, add chicken, tomatoes, salt, red chili flakes. Cover and cook for 40 minutes or until chicken is fully cooked. 3. Take off lid and cook on high flame until water evaporates. 4. Now add coriander powder and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add oil and cook on high flame for 4-5 minutes. 5. Add yogurt and cook until oil appears. Now add black pepper powder, green chilies, coriander and cook for 2-3 minutes. 6. Dish it out and garnish it with ginger, green chilies and coriander. 7. Your desi murgh karahi is ready to serve. Preparation time: 5-10 mins Cooking time: 1 hr 10 mins Serving: 4-6
