Experience how quickly you can change your state of being with the power of music and breath. Perfect for a morning boost, an energizing pause during your day, or a calming unwind in the evening. Your guide: Joep Mencke — breathwork facilitator, DJ, and music producer — has led sessions across the globe for the past three years. His mission is to make transformation accessible and help you integrate breathwork into your daily life. In this practice, you’ll experience guided breathing patterns, gentle retentions, and moments of stillness, all supported by an original soundtrack composed by Joep. The music blends warm textures, subtle harmonies, and rhythmic layers to carry you deeper into the shift. What to expect in this session: • 10-minute guided breathwork for daily integration • Original music and soundscapes by Joep Mencke • Two to three short breathing cycles with retentions • A balance of activation and relaxation • Accessible to all levels — no prior experience required Best experienced with headphones Can be done sitting or lying down in a comfortable, undisturbed space ⸻ Breathwork Instructions This is a connected breath practice — no pause between inhale and exhale. • Inhale: Belly & chest expand • Exhale: Belly & chest fall • Breathing in: Mouth (more powerful) or nose (gentler) • Breathing out: Mouth • Each cycle includes dynamic breathing followed by two retentions (~45 sec after exhale, then ~45 sec after inhale). • You may feel tingling, changes in temperature, or mild muscle tension — these are normal effects of breathwork. • If overwhelmed, return to gentle breathing in and out through the nose. • Always listen to your body and never force anything. ⸻ ⚠ Important Contraindications If you have a history of psychosis or epileptic seizures, this practice is not for you. If you are currently pregnant, please listen closely to your body. Only participate if it feels right for you — and do not perform or hold any of the breath retentions.
