Shirley performed several concerts in Germany in 1970, and one of these performances was televised as a TV Special. It is anyone's guess on how many TV Specials from around the world that Shirley accomplished in her 70 year career. Thank you to rbbmedia for uploading this video. I have attempted to enhance both the video and audio. This clip includes a medley of two songs, "Goin' Out Of My Head & You Go To My Head", and she is wearing the yellow dress with strategic cut-outs that was included on the cover of her 1970 album titled, "SOMETHING". Shirley recorded this Medley on her 1968 album titled, "This Is My Life". ABOUT the Album, "This Is My Life": This Is My Life is a 1968 album by Shirley Bassey. The mid to late sixties was a period of declining popularity for traditional pop. How much the changing tastes in popular music directly affected Bassey's record sales is difficult to quantify; but her record sales had been faltering since the latter part of the mid 1960s, and the album failed to chart (She did have some success in Italy during this period, where she recorded several songs in Italian, with two making the Top 40 there). The version of "This Is My Life" appearing on side two is the English-only version, with lyrics by Norman Newell, and would become one of Bassey's signature songs.
