Building NEW Crane Boom End! | Franna Crane Project | Part 16

The NEW Crane Boom rebuild begins! We're not just patching things up here; we're building a brand new boom end and fall block from scratch. The process begins with laser-cut steel plates that we get into alignment before using our milling machine to create perfectly bored holes for the pins. We then head over to the lathe, where the magic of turning, drilling, and tapping transforms some chrome bar into our pins. And to ensure a perfect fit, we'll also machine up some spacer tubes on the lathe. The heat is on (literally) as we move to the welding area to heat and bend flat bar into the borders and end stops for the fall block. Finally, with all the pieces crafted, it's time for assembling and tacking together both the boom end and the fall block.
