Magical Christmas Market in Kraków Poland. Must Visit! Best Christmas Market in Europe.

This week we’re back in Poland, in the amazing city of Kraków checking out what might be one of the best Christmas Markets in Europe. This is actually our very first European Christmas market which makes it extra exciting for us! Krakow’s Christmas Market takes place in the Main Market Square, which also happens to be one of the biggest squares in Europe. While visiting the Christmas Market we try mulled wine (hot spiced wine also called Grzaniec Galicyjski in Polish), oscypek which is smoked sheep cheese from the south of Poland, Polish Pierogi, and potato pancakes. While here we also check out the Christmas tree in the square, as well as the different stalls to see what types of things you can buy at the Krakow Christmas Market. ABOUT KRAKOW Kraków, a southern Poland city near the border of the Czech Republic, is known for its well-preserved medieval core and Jewish quarter. Its old town – ringed by Planty Park and remnants of the city’s medieval walls – is centered on the stately, expansive Rynek Glówny (market square). This plaza is the site of the Cloth Hall, a Renaissance-era trading outpost, and St. Mary’s Basilica, a 14th-century Gothic church.
