As a Fearful Avoidant, you may live with a deep and constant belief that you’re “not safe.” Not inside yourself, and not with other people. And no amount of affirmations seems to touch it. This is a protective fear response: when you grew up around unpredictable reactions, your system learned to assume judgment, anger, and rejection are the default.
