HAMMER Coaching observations of 2 young throwers by D.Poppé (A.NOBILO vs S. GREGORY)

This video allows observation and analysis (using simultaneous videos , slow motion , freeze frames) of 2 young hammer throwers (15 years and 60m performance level with 4kg) . They are as different as possible with one being tall and strong (90kg) , left handed and trying to use the 4 turns technique. The other is smaller , thinner , right handed and using the 3 turns technique. Observations should lead to some questions : what is important to start with with beginners in the hammer technique (Speed ? Posture ? Radius ? Foot work ? Build strength) ? , when should you start using the 4 turns technique ? What hammer weights should be used for which age and morphology ? etc...etc...DP
