"Dig" is one of my favorite songs of all time. I was listening to it the other day and reading some of the comments posted and I came across several threads on YouTube and Reddit where people were looking for a studio quality acoustic version of the song. Oddly enough, there aren't any posted anywhere. There are a few concert versions but nothing that can be remastered well enough to remove the crowd noise and still be studio quality. I searched high and low but trust me when I say it doesn't exist - at least not one that is available to the public. It's a shame really, so I decided that one should be created ;) I used the best/cleanest version of an acoustic guitar only version I could find ( • INCUBUS - Dig Acoustic Guitar Cover ) and paired it with the original studio recorded vocals and backing track. Took me several days of working with it to get the multiple tracks synced up and mixed properly (adding layers/compression/reverb/cross fading, etc.) to get this to something that sounds as close to a studio recorded song as possible. And with that... hope you enjoy listening!
