This is the easiest germany guide I could make for hearts of iron 4. No reliance on complex templates, no difficult navies, just fighters for air, no agencies to mess with, and no special projects. This is the most pure vanilla way of playing it. Eventhough it would be easier if you did use the aformentioned aspects we left out, the playstyle stays basic and very easy to understand in this tutorial. Germany is one of the (if not the) strongest nations in hearts of iron IV. However, when you look up a guide online, most become highly complex and technical. What if you are just a new player with zero hours in the game, but still want to start beating the allies? Those are the people who this guide is made for. I cannot make it easier than this, all technicals are removed. Using this guide you will be able to beat the allies in singleplayer without the big hassle that is creating optimized templates, or even worse, LEARNING NAVY. Did you catch that? No more worrying about case yellow, or even operation sealion! This tutorial features the building blocks of your Germany playthrough, in an easy way. This tutorial will go into building up the German economy, and expanding the German borders. I'll show you how to beat Poland, the Benelux, Denmark, France, and most importantly Great Brittain. I will leave operation Barbarossa (invading the Soviet Union), and operation high castle (unofficial name for invading the USA) up to the viewer. I would seriously recommend at least using medium tanks divisions when doing both aformentioned operations, you will need those, although I have seen people do without. Keep in mind, hearts of iron IV is a complex strategy game. It is the complexity that makes the game fun. Therefore I would encourage every beginner to start messing around with some more complex features whenever the feel doing so. Don't be afraid of messing up, losing is part of the fun sometimes. DISCLAIMER: I would not recommend using this strategy in multiplayer, it will not be effective against stronger opponents. Or at least, you will be far less effective than you could be.
