Negative Symptoms: My Experience with Schizoaffective Disorder Bipolar Type

Negative symptoms are something that is found primarily in the criteria for schizophrenia. However, part of the criteria for schizoaffective disorder—a condition that is on the schizophrenia spectrum—includes some overlap with schizophrenia. Negative symptoms are that overlap. And while they are not required for a diagnosis of either condition, they are common and thus are found in many with the disorders. As someone who is diagnosed with the bipolar type of schizoaffective disorder I have experienced negative symptoms, and that is what this video is about.
