Developed by Bizarre Developments and published by Alternative Software in 1992. I never owned this and I'm awfully glad that I didn't. This game is terrible - it recycles the Popeye 2 music and sprites in this excuse of a game. For some unknown reason, Popeye has to wrestle a bunch of aliens, of which there are about 5 and each level requires it's own multi-load for goodness sake! Basically, you just kick your opponent in the nuts till his health is drained, get into a clinch and waggle the joystick then pin your opponent to the mat. Repeat this 5 times and the game is complete. 2 of the enemy designs are blatant rip-offs of popular sci-fi aliens, such as H.R. Geiger's Alien design and the robot from Lost in Space. The others are generic, derivative sci-fi creatures that are in no way memorable. I suppose the background graphics for the crowd and the ring are quite nice, but that's about all you can say. #retrogaming
