Create textured 3D objects in Blender and import them into Davinci Resolve. This Blender to Resolve workflow shows how to automatically have UV textured 3D models from Blender import into Resolve with the Texture nodes already set up. The most difficult part of having imported 3D models showing up properly in Resolve are the UV textures. If the UV textures are not created correctly, then the results will not be good. Davinci Resolve uses nodes to create textures. In this case, I apply a specular map to a node in Resolve and a diffuse color map to a node in Resolve. The 3D geometry is brought into Resolve using the FBX file. 00:00 Creating the 3D model in Blender 01:23 Applying the Boolean cutters in Blender 01:43 Add a light into Blender (to be imported into Resolve) 02:07 Adding a material on Blender model 02:47 Fixing the UV Textures in Blender 03:42 Exporting Texture layers from Blender 05:52 Importing 3D model into Davinci Resolve 07:20 Discussion of importing cameras and lights into Resolve 09:47 Troubleshooting issues with Textures in Resolve 10:40 Final Renders Free Blender download https://www.blender.org/download/ Blender Plugins Used in this video Boxcutter https://blendermarket.com/products/bo... I do not recommend buying products without first checking them out. In this case, I purchased all these add-ons and use them almost everyday. Thanks!
