Thanks to Bristol Record Office we're able to share this delightful little bit of archive footage from R W W Turner, documenting some of his travels around India after World War I. Cinema Rediscovered will give audiences an opportunity to discover - or indeed re-discover - new digital restorations, film print rarities of early cinema, and contemporary classics. We've got David Bowie up to his neck in Merry Christmas Mr Lawrence, a huge season of all of Tarkovsky’s films, Wizard of Oz in 3D, a free marathon screening of The Story of Film: An Odyssey, Black Atlantic Cinema Club films, Stanley Kubrick’s Barry Lyndon, events on archives, and loads more.
