'Girls Blue' was Hiromix's first mass published photobook. It's grown on me over the years, and I think I still prefer the 1998 Steidl book. Still. Great stuff, especially if you, like me, were about the same age as Hiromix and her friends at the time these photos were made. I recognize some of these people, not as actual individuals, but as sort of stand-ins for my own teenage and early-20s cohort.
