This is a detailed tutorial on grafting 2x2 ribbing. It basically boils down to combining a kitchener stitch knitwise and purlwise. So, every 2 stitches you change the repeat accordingly. It's actually quite easy once you remember one thing: If it looks like a knit stitch, you go in purlwise in the first pass, and drop the stitch knitwise And if it looks like a purl stitch, you go in knitwise first, and then drop it purlwise in the second step. And if you remember that the stitches on the back needle will appear mirror inverted, things are really easy and grafting 2x2 ribbing is very easy. This method will result in a half-stitch jog. There's nothing to prevent that because you are grafting two pieced together that have been knitted in a different direction.
