This webinar aims to help educators put the recommendations made in the Right to Read report into practice every day in their classroom. Lisa Cheaney-Hogan will speak about the importance of making changes to reading instruction and provide examples of ways teachers can embed evidence-based literacy instruction into their daily schedules in a way that is cross-curricular, culturally responsive, and equitable. This webinar is intended for all teachers, and Lisa will highlight the responsibility educators, even at the junior and intermediate levels, have to meet students where they are and ultimately teach them how to read.
