(OT12 AI) I GOT A BOY - EXO AI Cover (og. Girls' Generation SNSD) (w/ line distribution) Just another personal project EXO using AI voices, are covering parts of the song I Got a Boy (2013) by Girls' Generation (SNSD) off of the full album of the same name Time wise, I distributed this song based off of the few ot12 title tracks we got from EXO and partially from their other title tracks in general. Main vocals get the most lines, Luhan varies but can be found in high placements as well. Minus Chanyeol, rappers usually have low placements, Lay and Xiumin are also typically lower, while Kai and Suho and typically higher. Line wise, I also based it off ot12 title tracks but also how Girls' Generation distributed this song themselves. One of the main vocalists doesn't get high parts throughout instead only getting the main special one towards the end (Jessica and D.O.) meanwhile the others are consistently getting higher parts throughout (Taeyeon, Chen, and Baekhyun). Out of the main vocalists Baekyun more often gets the first big singing line. Chen gets many high parts and not many regular lines. If I Got a boy was another artists song and you asked a SONE to distribute it for Girls' Generation, nobody would ever give Sunny the second part of the high chorus, so I gave Luhan that same unexpected treatment with those lines, and also the reason of Luhan and Sunny having more similar vocal colors. The IGAB intro rap is similar to Growls intro to me, so I distributed the lines across multiple members like in Growl. I also used this logic for the spoken adlibs throughout the song (Chanyeol, Kai, Tao) and in the 2nd chorus (Lay, Kris, Tao). Despite many members, EXO, even in ot12 title tracks almost never have multiple members singing the same melody for one line, so the Yuri/Sooyoung and Hyoyeon/Yoona lines were distributed for only one EXO member each. Kai getting rapping and singing lines is something common, as well as any lines scattered throughout the song. I gave him the intro verse since he also usually gets some part in the intros, and same thing with the 'let me put it down another way' starting off the first chorus and killing part. Xiumin also gets rap and singing parts but when theres other singing lines to be had rather than rap they typically push him as a vocalist. Xiumin and Suho's lines were mostly chosen off where I think they sound best in the song, but also based on the songs structure. Lay most of the time doesn't get many lines but still gets a few small parts throughout the song, I chose them based on vocal color and slightly with choreography in mind (Sunny body roll part lol). Chanyeol obviously gets at least one main rap line, and I gave him one of the more difficult and typical rap parts as he tends to get those, he also in ot12 songs would get smaller rap/vocal lines. When distributing lines in EXO songs Kris and Sehun always were given an actual rap line before Tao, meanwhile Tao usually always gets the smaller rap or speaking parts. Sehun also doesn't usually get any of the small rap lines or spoken background adlibs in songs minus mentioning EXO (intro in this case). Tao voice model ‪@rutsonmicael‬
