Welcome back to Driving Therapy, the channel that blends calm ASMR driving, scenic storytelling, and time-capsule road documentaries. Today’s video captures a full 1st-person POV drive from Hesperia, CA to San Bernardino, filmed on a dramatic late-autumn day filled with curvy mountain roads, shifting clouds, scattered rain, forest views, and even rainbow moments. Our journey begins in Summit Valley along Highway 173, surrounded by open desert hills and wide skies. The weather is already changing soft clouds roll overhead and a light drizzle creates that peaceful ASMR sound as it taps against the windshield. From this first-person perspective, you’ll feel every curve and elevation shift as we climb into the mountains. Connecting with Highway 138, the scenery turns rugged and winding. The road becomes noticeably curvier, the sky darker with patches of sunlight breaking through, and at certain moments the clouds part just enough to reveal faint rainbows hanging over the ridgelines. The POV view captures it all the reflections on the wet asphalt, the drifting fog, and the mountains disappearing into the clouds. As we approach Silverwood Lake, the landscape turns greener and thicker. The combination of light rain and sunlight creates a glossy forest glow, and the lake reflects the moving clouds above. From inside the car, you can hear the calming hum of the engine and the soothing rain a natural ASMR blend for anyone looking to unwind. Climbing toward Crestline, the forest truly takes over. Tall pines rise around the highway, mist sits between the branches, and the curves get tighter as the elevation increases. The weather shifts between cloudy, drizzly, and sunlit, giving you a constantly changing sky show through the windshield. The descent into San Bernardino down Highway 18 is nothing short of cinematic. The sweeping curves, dramatic drop-offs, fog pockets, and bursts of sunlight create an unforgettable visual flow. At certain points, the sky opens into glowing patches of blue, then closes again with thick clouds rolling over the peaks all captured from a natural, immersive POV perspective. The drive ends where Rim of the World Highway meets Waterman Avenue, marking the transition from serene mountain forest to city life below.
