Trains at St Denys, SWML - 29/7/19

Welcome to the latest episode of Big Trip! Today I am at St Denys on the South Western Main Line and West Coastway Line where services are seen by South Western Railway, CrossCountry, Southern (brand of Govia Thameslink Railway) and Great Western Railway. St Denys is a small but busy station for mainly passing trains, the station is in a suburb just away from Southampton Central and sees various traction run along the faster South Western Main Line and the large slower curve on the West Coastway Line. Trains do call on every platform, about 4 trains an hour generally call here with extras at early morning, peak and evening times. The views are brilliant too, you can see a great track layout heading towards Southampton and see trains waiting to move whilst other stuff runs in the way before they can move so you know well when things are approaching. The station has always been the same, for all the times I've been here, it just retains the same layout but retains the same level of enjoyment I've always had from this gem of a station.
