081013 Special Report: Sikh family attacked in Delhi

Sikh Channel Delhi Unit has received a disturbing report of the brutal attack on a Sikh family in Rohini Sec-3 Delhi. The incident has been reported to have stemmed from a property related dispute.Prior to commencing the assault, the assailant is reported to have remarked "1984 Bhool gaye, Sallo Yaad Karwata hoon" along with further such insults to the Sikh victims. During the brutal assault the male Sikh victim's beard was pulled at and amounts of his kesh were pulled out. The victim was reportedly beaten and then his kesh opened from which the assailant dragged him around.The assailant has reportedly proceeded to attack the Sikh male's wife and punched her continuously in the face breaking many of her teeth. His daughter was also assaulted and received injuries. The family and witnesses were subsequently threatened by the assailant who stated he had contacts with a judge who had given instructions to the SHO to not file a case. The incident has been raised with the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee and Sikh group have planned protests.
