😎💜WDW Parks reopen after Hurricane Ian | Massive Onsite Hotel Guest Benefit | Orlando & Beyond 2022💜

💜😎Join us as we head back into the Walt Disney World parks after they had been closed for 2 days following Hurricane Ian and the necessary clean up. 😎Last night we had to keep a close eye on the My Disney Experience app and also the website as it was quite late in the day we found out the details of the parks reopening. 😎For us as hotel guests on Disney Property – yes the Swan and Dolphin were included – we got to get into the park that we had a park reservation for a massive 2 hours before the offsite guests. 2 hours!!!! That was huge!!! 💜Each of the parks had a different opening time, I guess this was based on damage and flooding that needed to be sorted and also getting the Cast Members to work as the area had seen a lot of damage and flooding. 🚶Our reservation was for Hollywood Studios. The main transport method from our hotel to Disney’s Hollywood Studios is boat, but due to the hurricane the water level was to high for the boat to get under the bridges!! This turned out to be a blessing in disguise, as we were able to walk to Hollywood Studios and got there before much of the other onsite transportation. 💜Not only did we benefit from having 2 hours without offsite guests, getting to the park before many of the guests using onsite transportation as we had walked, the way they filtered the crowd also worked in our favour at every turn. They also let us into the park around 30 minutes before the advertised time. 💜😎💜All these huge benefits allowed us to walk onto one of the newer rides – Rise of the Resistance, which was awesome by the way. We then managed to walk onto Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway and then only had a short wait for the Toy Story Mania ride. 💤💤After a bus ride back to our hotel for a chill and siesta, we later head into EPCOT, which as you can imagine was now a lot busier. So we just enjoyed the Figment ride and Test Track (which was one of the worse wait times of our trip). Then ended the day watching the fabulous Harmonious Nighttime spectacular. 💜💜All in all a great day in Disney.
