Stutter Video clip password is allegory. Video is conceived as a frantic succession of allegorical images, strictly associated to the text and its hidden emotions. Text, sound, body movement travel on same allegorical rail. All viewer's senses are caught with same intensity. Stutter in English means: speech impediment, stammering. Inside of video is displayed thru the "strobe" allegorical image: a flashing light that breakes thru each frame with a full white or black cross-hatching.. If each video frame was printed on paper, the effect would be a photo followed by a full white or black page with an alternating rhythm. The result is a moving image comparable to strobes lights, popular in discos, that catch the body global movements at their fluidity expense. A stutterer move that obscures all that happens between the previous move and the following one. In that second anything might happen on the basis of your imagination. First scene shows a futuristic bank caveaux heavy door. Handles open their selves, lockers begin to unlock, severe and powerful gears are zoomed. So our centre, our heart is the bank caveaux. Safety boxes like windows on our subconscious that when open reveal a plasma screen where images get alive. 3D reality is the master. First safety box opens, plasma screen lights up, That Rogue Romeo appears. Safety box base is the horizon allegory. The protagonist dressed as a stylized sun rises following the text meaning: "I've been down but I'm coming up for air". So a very precise sentences series start and is allegorically displayed as two-dimensional radio waves coming from the third eye. ...At verse "Now you're crawling on your knees", scene again changes and That Rogue Romeo look. Scene is a visionary recreated theatre where the graphic two-dimension merges with the 3D together with the real filmed image. A new filming way between allegory and surrealism. Lover who injured him is on his knees, their history belongs to the past. The protagonist theatrically rises his arms while exclaims the sentence as a conquest. A fifth theatre figured by white stripes/bars divides That Rogue Romeo from alter ego, the victim from the winner. Out of the dark rises That Rogue Romeo as the winner, disintegrates into thousand parts that invade spectator/lover with an energetic positive and determined strength. Viewing and reviewing the video you will spot all the allegories hidden in it. You will understand the meaning hidden behind the make up I designed for That Rogue Romeo, developed together with Shu Uemura team and realized by Dshock. A white cerone mask, inspired to Kabuki theatre masks, willingly vertically interrupted at its centre, leaving face wide discovered just where nose and the third eye are located. Enjoy.
