*Edit Hey all! People have asked some good questions on how this works work trinkets and Azerite Armor with different passive effects. Here's how you simulate them: Trinkets and Azerite Gear are a little more tricky, and need more input than a simple tooltip hover can provide. As far as the tooltips, they will only show a trinkets value if it is a "stat stick" type trinket. (Random effects are not accounted for as far as I'm aware, as it's just stat weights). If you want to know what trinket or Azerite gear piece is better simulate them on the raid bots site specifically at the "Top Gear" section. Here's links and a description. https://www.raidbots.com/simbot/topgear The top gear is pretty easy to use, you copy your string from SimC like usual, and paste it in. It will bring up all the possible items from your inventory. You can then see what you are wearing. Then, click to add items from your inventory to simulate against your current gear. You can pick maybe 4-5 to sim at once if you're not a patron of the site. (Max of 300,000 iterations). Add what gear you want to test and click "Find Top Gear". Wait in queue. Once it is done, you will see a picture of your top gear. Gear changes that need to be made will be in yellow. Below it, you can see the DPS breakdowns of all the pieces you picked in all possible combinations.
