Stoner Comedy Short Film | Weed World Warrior - Pilot Weed World Warrior - Pilot started as a very small scale YouTube project that was meant to be written, shot, and finished within a couple of weeks. We cast our friends, had a small budget, and the script was more of an outline than the finished thing. It was never intended to be a serious production. After the shoot, we realized the potential of the material and couldn't let it go to waste. We attempted to make as good of a film as possible with what we had. (editing and audio was a nightmare) Fast forward a year and a half later and this is what it became. In that time, we somehow had the chance to work with some incredibly talented people. Rafael Rico (Composer) and Pete Conlon (Title Designer) especially. Their resumes include Netflix, Cartoon Network, WB, Comedy Central, Coke, Nike, and the list goes on. I like to think of this part as a 'Pilot'. Part 2 is in post-production now with a much higher budget and more serious approach to filmmaking. It's a lot different from this one. But that's what makes this part so special. The overall process of how it was created... Its tone and vibe are spontaneous, unscripted, and low budget-y, which fits in with the style of humor. I will never make anything like it again, and to me, that's why it will always hold a special place in my heart Thank you so much to everyone who made this possible.
