RG presented with new Colours in Windsor Castle outdoor ceremony, witnessed by the Queen

The Royal Gibraltar Regiment has been presented with new colours this morning at Windsor Castle by the Earl of Wessex. Prince Edward said he looked forward to seeing the Regiment on home soil with the Convent this afternoon confirming that the Earl and Countess of Wessex will visit Gibraltar between the 7th and 9th June. The Governor says the visit in The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee year is a reminder of the unbreakable bond between the UK and Gibraltar, adding he looks forward to receiving them, adding they will be warmly welcomed. Thursday's ceremony, scheduled to have taken place in St George's Hall was moved outdoors so it could be witnessed by the Queen. Shelina Assomull and cameraman Darren Durante have captured today's event and bring us this report from Windsor.
