While traveling on his bike in Sangareddy town, he surprised locals by giving ₹50,000 to a roadside cobbler to support his livelihood. Earlier, during municipal election campaigning in Sadasivapet, Jaggareddy also helped a lemon soda vendor by giving ₹1 lakh and encouraging her to expand her business. However, these charitable gestures sparked controversy as the municipal election Model Code of Conduct was in force. Police objected to the distribution of money in public places and registered a case against Jaggareddy for alleged code violations.
