How to make a nuc !!!

Today’s topic is How to make a nuc, a subject which has regular uploads and coverage. the equipment we shall be using to make the nuc is (i) a standard bee hive box, (ii) some honeycomb frames having lots of opened and capped brood and other resources from healthy bee hives, (iii) a Queen excluder, (iv) a double screened divider bottom board, and (v) and some new foundation frames to complete the nuc box. we select two frames with brood and larva and place them in the middle of the nuc box, we add two more frames having honey, pollen and other resources on either sides of the brood frames of the nuc, and finally we fill in the nuc box with new foundation frames or used honeycomb frames. During the whole process of making the nuc we make sure that not a single bee goes into the nuc, and to finish the process, we place the nuc on a healthy bee hive with a Queen excluder inserted in between, here we may use a few puff of smoke to dissuade the bees entering the nuc, Obviously, after completion of the whole process, bees from the hive below will go into the nuc through the Queen-excluder but the Queen wont be able to do so. As from this point onward, we shall enter the phase of follow-up which has extensively been covered and written in our previous video FROM NUCS TO SINGLES which consist of (a) adding a Queen or capped Queen cell into the nuc, (b) replacing the Queen-excluder with a double screened divider bottom board, thus splitting the nuc from the hive, and from that moment the nuc becomes a Single, and carry (c) regular inspection and monitoring to check progress of the new Single, until the Single is strong enough to (e) add a Super so that the bees starts the production of delicious honey.
