Ankita Bhandari Murder Case | BJP Leader’s Son Among Three Convicted In 2022 Murder Case

A court in Uttarakhand has found all three accused guilty in the high-profile 2022 murder case of 19-year-old receptionist Ankita Bhandari. The verdict was delivered on Friday by Additional District and Sessions Judge Reena Negi at the Kotdwar court. Pulkit Arya, the owner of the Vanantara Resort near Rishikesh, along with two of his staff—Saurabh Bhaskar and Ankit Gupta—has been convicted of Ankita’s murder, which took place in September 2022. Ankita was reported missing on 18 September that year. Her body was discovered six days later in a canal in Pauri district. Investigators revealed that she had been pushed into the canal after a dispute with Pulkit Arya, who is the son of expelled BJP leader Vinod Arya.
