How To Reset the Thin Client OS To Factory Default Settings | ClearCube Tech

There are two ways to reset the Thin Client OS back to Factory Default Settings. In this video, we will explain both of them. Let’s begin with the first method. Once your Thin Client is booted up, scroll down to the left corner of your screen and click on ‘Configuration’. You will now see a password prompt pop up on your screen. Type in your set password or the general password admin to gain access. Next, you will see a menu option on the left side of the screen. Scroll down to factory default, click it, and then click ‘Reset’. You will reset the Thin Client OS to Factory Default settings successfully. The second way to reset to Factory Default settings is to utilize a keyboard shortcut. Hold down Shift and tap Ctrl on your keyboard when the Thin Client is in reboot mode. This will enable a text-based prompt on your screen. Once you see the prompt, type Yes to continue. The Thin Client will be reset to Factory Default settings.
