For five consecutive days, relentless downpours have led to flash floods, inundating homes, submerging national highways, and disconnecting dozens of villages from the mainland. Rescue operations are underway, with the Army, NDRF, and SDRF deployed in various locations to evacuate stranded residents. Transportation has been crippled, with only heavy vehicles like tractors able to navigate the waterlogged roads. A reporter on the ground stated, "as long as the rain continues and the water doesn't recede totally, the situation will remain grim in Sawai Madhopur, in Tonk, in Bundi, all these areas."
