Shot on Thursday 09th January 2025, 5:30pm NZST Come with me for a walk around what's considered one of the most dangerous streets in Christchurch, Manchester Street. Starting from Moorehouse Ave which is one of the main arterial routes of the City, we walk Northwards all the way to the end, and even double back a little bit. The start of the walk contains the Urban areas, the big yellow supermarket is called Pak n Save, it's New Zealand owned, however even when you pack your own groceries, it still feels like I'm paying too much :P We have a few popular bars and shops along the way, we can see the Te Kaha Stadium construction over to the east. We also have the main bus route and a whole lot of these square apartment style houses going up in the area. Finally as we pass cross the river we head urban density starts to fade. I've walked from the full length of the street and to be honest it was pretty chill, it has a long historic reputation around New Zealand for being the Red Light District of Christchurch.
