Ambuluwawa temple is a beautiful and scenic temple situated on a sacred mountain in Gampola town, Sri Lanka. It is known as possibly the best viewpoint to get the magnificent views around. It has a 360 degree when you are on the top of the tower. Reaching to the top is a challenging effort, however it is not too difficult. There are tuk tuks available to reach the complex for your convenience. If the day is clear, you will be charmed by the views and will want to stay there forever gazing all around like I did. It is interesting to see a Church, Hindu temple, Mosque and Buddhist shrine all together in this place and it is considered as a biodiversity complex. Ambuluwawa tower is a very attracting design and more and more you step up, it gets narrower and narrower. At the height, the feeling you get while hitting the wind is an absolute marvel. At an elevation of 3567 feet, it is visible marvelously from the Gampola town, specially from the Gampola station.
