It's a tardigrade kind of day so I put together this little montage of tardigrades doing what they do best. Enjoy! Tardigrades, otherwise known as water bears or moss piglets, are eight-legged invertebrates from the phylum Tardigrada that average 0.1 millimeters to 0.5 millimeters in length. They are known for their resilience and ability to live in extreme climates as cold as Antarctica and as hot as volcanic mud. They belong to an inclusive category of animals called extremophiles. For more information on tardigrades google "Microscope clarity tardigrades" and check out that post. There is also a 3D model you can play with there too!
