The mod adds numerous new mechanics and features, as well as updated visuals: sprites and animations, a tech tree, and special unit skills add variety to the gameplay. Armor feature. Each unit has its own armor class and different effectiveness depending on the enemy's armor type. Heating feature. Flamethrowers and lasers now heat their targets, causing them to take additional damage. Research feature. By killing enemy units, the unit gains experience, thereby increasing its veterancy level. The higher the veterancy, the better the unit's stats.
