Umm Al Emarat Park is one of the largest and oldest parks in Abu Dhabi. Originally named Mushrif Park and built-in 1982 as a park for ladies and children, the renamed park has seen extensive renovations, making it one of the best family parks in the city. You'll find a variety of facilities and attractions here, including the Shade House, Animal Barn, Amphitheatre, Great Lawn, Botanic Garden, Children’s Garden, and Evening Garden. The Animal Barn is operated in partnership with Emirates Park Zoo and houses animals including camels, baby goats, cows, and ponies. The Amphitheatre is a large outdoor performing arts venue that can accommodate over 1,000 people. The Shade House is an iconic structure towering over the park and housing several species of plants in a moisture-controlled environment.
