Always like to try and respond to requests. We were asked to try and review a disabled access cabin on Marella Explorer and fortunately had the chance and permission on our last day onboard. In fairness i should mention that the room was still iin the process of being cleaned for guests arriving that day but was almost completed. The room we looked at was 5062 on Deck 5. This is located mid-ship and is extremely close to the atrium and reception. I am not disabled and therefore not the best person to be commentating on the pros and cons but did the best i could and hopefully the video will show what you need to see. There are 8 cabins with accessible ensuite facilities available. All accessible cabins have an ensuite with a wheel in shower. There are 0 accessible cabins with interconnecting cabins. The cabin(s) with accessible facilities is/are 5044, 5056, 5059, 5062, 5064, 5065, 5067, 5072. If you need any advice then Marella have an Assisted travel team who are there to help. Tel no as below.
