The "Super-rutschbahn" track on Sankt Andreasberg in Harz, Germany. Actually, the name of this specific hill that the course is on, is "Matthias-Schimdt berg" (Matthias Schmidt's mountain). Sankt Andreasberg is apparently the name of the village. In summer and only in dry weather you can take this ride. In winter it's closed, but they still use the lift for skiers, who skis down to the right of this track. There are a few videos of the skiing season here on Youtube, from Sankt Andreasberg / Matthias-Schmidt berg. I apologize for the quality, but my camera is a very small and cheap thing that's been given to me. Most infomation is in the video, but i'll write it here too because it's a tad hard to read: "Facts: 550 meters of track ( a bit over a 3rd of a mile) 130 meters of decent (ca. 400ft) Avarage speed: 30 km/h (ca. 20 mph) One ride takes 1:15-1:20 mins (That's with my speed, everyone else was much slower) it's really fun If you drive too fast you'll run off the track...(only in germany, no safety)" I've been told there is a track much like in in Austria somewhere, if someone knows anything about it, please PM me!! Oh, and if anyone was wondering, the little tune is called, "We're out for fun", apparently...
