his concept reimagines the legendary BMW HP2, a motorcycle originally produced from 2005–2006. I believe it’s time to bring this idea back—perhaps even as a 900cc version. BMW Motorrad’s unveiling of the F 450 Rally Concept at EICMA 2024 reignited interest in a modern HP2. Sticker kits for other brands and the current R1300 GS are available at rubberdust.com. Highlights of the Original BMW HP2 Enduro: Frame & Suspension: Tubular steel frame inspired by HPN rally bikes, upside-down fork, and air suspension. Weight & Performance: At just 179 kg dry, combined with a low center of gravity, it excelled off-road. Powered by a 1,170cc air/oil-cooled boxer engine delivering 105 hp and 115 Nm of torque. Unique Features: Minimalist design with no ABS, center stand, passenger pegs, or luggage mounts. Instead, it offered a built-in level gauge for suspension adjustment.
