The state’s chief financial officer targets Fernandina Beach in his latest broadside on “wasteful spending.” And, could the NAVI be rolling toward the Beaches? Richard Edward Norman, who produced silent films featuring African Americans at the Arlington site from 1919 to 1928, was a fan of Westerns. The short film Wild (1921) screens at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Rita F. Reagan Set Building followed by Sky High (1922), starring Tom Mix. The screening is free, but registration is required.
