Eastbound California Zephyr & 1st Winter Park Express of 2026 make their stops at Fraser, CO (WIP)

Amtrak Train 6 arrives into Fraser 4 minutes behind schedule passing by a resting Winter Park Express on Fraser Siding. Today's Zephyr has a Superliner Transition Sleeper bringing up the rear for a little something out of the ordinary. Following station work, Train 6 led by Genesis P42 Phase VII #69, departs 9 minutes behind schedule. As the train departs we hear the engineer and Dispatcher 378 going over forms and voids for the trip down to Denver. We then hear Dispatcher 378 and the engineer of the Winter Park Express going over their forms as we glance around the surrounding peaks on this windy afternoon. Train 1106 then shoves back up the siding and onto the main line to pull up for an early stop ahead of its scheduled 4:05 departure from Fraser. Video taken 12/19/2025.
