Fun fact: Foxhall is named after a nineteenth century cannon manufacturer who had also been the mayor of Georgetown. The area we call Foxhall today is centered by the charming three hundred home Tudor-Style Foxhall Village that was built in the 1920s by developer Boss & Phelps to replicate an English village on what was the old 60 acre Foxall estate. The glamorous Foxhall Road also gives the area its name. The road makes its way up the hill from the Potomac River to the fabulous Wesley Heights neighborhood and is lined by impressive homes.
