Nighthawk Custom Korth Mongoose 4" barrel .357/.38 revolver. 2025 Galactic Pistol Alliance (GPA) Pennsylvania State Championship! 1st Place Revolver ‪@NighthawkCustomFirearms‬ First time shooting an "official" GPA match and it was fantastic. Rules are a hybrid of USPSA and IDPA which leads to fun fast stages. Check them out at: https://galacticpistolalliance.com/ I was shooting in the Revolver division and was Unclassified coming into the match. I was using factory PMC 132gr. and Federal 130gr .38 special. Safariland Comp III speedloaders for S&W L frame and Ruger GP100s. Stages were fantastic - little bit of everything. A Texas Star (Stage 10), a Holy Monkey (Stage 5), a balance beam (Stage 7), lots of steel, and lots of paper targets. Had a few mental errors - breaking IDPA habits is hard so I should have dumped and reloaded more often on a couple stages. Had a couple stuck cases due to the weather. Weather is no friend this season. If it was not raining - it was stiflingly hot and neither makes for easy reloading or working speedloader revolvers. Overall, the Korth ran lights out though! Only had 1 miss on a hard to hit up and over target on Stage 4.
