In this video, I was using my Ricohflex TLR medium format camera with Portra 400 35mm film in Yellowstone National Park. I've always wanted to capture some of Yellowstone's magnificent scenery on film and I was able to get a little bit on this trip. We were only in the park for 2 days and didn't have a lot of time to find and set up photos. So I took photos from the side of the road and at some main attractions. I really have been enjoying the long vertical 35mm x 55mm aspect ratio I have been getting from using 35mm film in my medium format Ricohflex camera. Some would say the aspect ratio is 24mm x 55mm but because the film get exposed all the way to the edges, I count that which makes it 35mm. If you use a medium format camera that pulls film horizontally, then you can get some cool panoramic shots using 35mm film in that medium format camera. That's something I want to try.
