Ethical Considerations in the Anthropocene

The panel discusses the consequences of industrial animal farming and wildlife trade; the construction of animals among animal activists; and the work of veterinarians performing euthanasia. Although exemplifying very dissimilar practices, all papers share ethical considerations related to the classifications, distinctions, and hierarchies humans make between different kinds of animals.
